Independent timber importers and merchants NYTimber has launched Monarch Park Homes, its first foray into the world of park home and holiday lodge production.
The new division will design and manufacture bespoke timber lodges from NYTimber’s Catterick base and has already received orders for six lodges in the North East of England.
NYTimber’s new venture follows the success of ‘the pod’, its compact timber camping construction, which has proved a popular addition to the outdoor leisure market.
“From our experience over the last two years selling the Pod to campsites and leisure parks, we were aware that many park home customers in the north wanted to work with a more local timber lodge manufacturer, rather than have to deal remotely with one of the national manufacturers, who are mainly based in the south,” remarked Christian Walker, NYTimber’s Marketing Manager. “We saw a great opportunity to offer these customers the regional service they had been asking for.”
The new range’s highlights include the Monarch Statesman, a traditional timber lodge available from 16-22ft wide, and the contemporary Monarch Sovereign park home.
