Recently we posted an article welcoming Huw Pendleton on board as the new chairman of the British Holiday & Home Parks Association (BHHPA).
We read with interest a speech Mr Pendleton made after being appointed, in which he outlined the importance of holiday parks to the British tourist industry.
Mr Pendleton notes that holiday parks are known for their world-class status, delivering high standards of accommodation and customer service as well as value for money. He also praised the abilities of these sites to continue driving up standards and evolve in order to weather tough economic times.
In addition to his role as BHHPA chairman, Mr Pendleton owns the successful Celtic Holiday Parks Group and is a Wales Tourism Alliance board member. His current projects with the BHHPA include developing the leisure facilities at Croft Holiday Park.
