In early February a small team at Coast made the journey down from our head office in East Sussex to the picturesque Cornish Coastline. We were delighted to visit and show our support for local organisation, Cornwall Park Homes Forum.
The Forum was set up late last year, following changes to park home legislation by Cornwall Council, as a way of bringing together park home owners across the county. Their quarterly meetings are an opportunity for residents to discuss anything related to park home living. This month the group enjoyed talks from a number of guest speakers – Coast’s very own Robert Tuke, Wendy Thelfall of NAPHR and park home law specialist Tim Selley.
Coast provided the tea and cakes and where on hand to answer any questions residents might have on their park home insurance. Robert Tuke, Managing Director of Coast commented, “we are very happy to show our support for the forum, it’s always great to see local residents coming together and being one voice within the park home community.”
“We hope to support a number of other local park home communities over the year and feel this is an exciting venture for Coast. Being a family run insurance firm we like to take the time to get to know our customers to ensure we provide a product and service that’s exactly right for them.”
Committee member Roald Swade said, “the forum members were very impressed with Coast’s afternoon tea and was much appreciated by all present… many thanks for your input and we look forward to working with you in the future.”
