These egg bowls are simple to make and an added bonus is that there is no washing up!
Ingredients for four rolls:
Crusty bread rolls
4 small slices of ham, or 2 big ones cut in half
4 eggs
Grated cheese (of your choice)
1 tbsp. fresh parsley, finely chopped (optional)
How to make your bread bowls:
Light the BBQ and ensure it is hot enough to cook on.
Slice the top off all the bread rolls about 2cm down.
Scoop out the centre. To be neat, use a small knife to cut a round outline before scooping out the centre.
Line the bread bowl with a layer of ham.
Crack in an egg.
Top each with 2 tbsp. of cheese and a sprinkle of parsley if you fancy it.
Put the top back on each roll.
Wrap the rolls with foil and bake for 10 to 15 minutes.
Remove from BBQ, serve immediately and enjoy!
