Thousands of caravan and motorhome enthusiasts visited the Birmingham NEC over the past 6 days to take a look around the UK’s biggest caravan exhibition. This year’s show attracted over 350 exhibitors, who provided visitors with a huge range of attractions.
The industry’s leading caravan and motorhome manufacturers were at the exhibition offering visitors the chance to view the latest caravan and motorhome models. Manufacturers included Bailey Caravans, Coachman Caravans, Elddis, Fifth Wheel Company, Lunar Caravans Ltd and Swift Group Ltd. For those who were looking to buy a new 2011 caravan the show was the perfect place to compare models and purchase their new caravan, ensuring they avoid the VAT increase in January!
The Expert Talks Theatre was a new attraction at the exhibition this year. Visitors enjoyed talks by John Clews of The RSPB, the Irish Caravan Council and The Camping and Caravanning Club. Expert talks also included presentations on many destinations around the world, this gave visitors an ideal chance to decide where they will go for their next caravan adventure.
Another new attraction for 2010 that proved very popular with visitors was the Real Ale Bar. Set amongst the latest holiday home models and next to the Farmers Market the Real Ale Bar was a great meeting place for all caravan and outdoor enthusiasts. The Real Ale Bar provided a welcoming environment where visitors could sample a selection of award winning ales and catch up with fellow caravanners over a pint.
As well as offering visitors the chance to view new caravan and motorhome models the exhibition also offers visitors the ideal opportunity to kit out their caravan with equipment and accessories. These included bike racks, barbecues, outdoor furniture, sat-navs and many more gadgets that make your caravan the ultimate home from home.
Coast Insurance took great pleasure in meeting both current and new customers at this year’s International Caravan and Motorhome Show. This year’s exhibition was an exciting experience for Coast as it was our first time meeting customers face to face with our new Coast branding. The new company branding received a huge amount of positive feedback from both visitors and other exhibitors.
